October 10th

Today. . .

1. It's my Birthday!

2. Parker up at 5:45, so I'm up, Josh up at 5:45 also, Carson up at 6:00, Cooper up at 6:45, Emma up at 7:10

3. Josh decorated the house, went & got Starbucks, a pumpkin score, & donuts for the kids all before I was done with my shower

4. 7:00 Josh off to work in his full dress uniform

5. Carson started coloring & craft projects, talked to my mom, checked email, talked to my brother Sean, talked to Katie, talked to my Grandma Kathie

6. Lunch

7. Talked to Michele, colored more with Carson, talked to Erin, picked up toys

8. Josh got home, went & got dinner (BK-Carson & Emma, McD-Cooper, In&Out-us)

9. Talked to my Dad, Ryan, & Nikki, made brownies

10. Brownies & Ice Cream

11. Kids went to bed at 8:00

October 9th

Today . . .

1. Josh up at 5:30, Carson up at 5:45, Cooper up at 5:50, Parker & I up at 5:55, Emma up at 7:00

2. Breakfast, off to school

3. Emma is very crabby! It is windy and cooler today (so far that is), Cooper, of course is playing with his guys eating a baggy of cereal

4. Picked Carson up, got home, Carson fed Parker while I made lunch, watched Superhero Backyardigans, Emma down for a nap, time for coloring and crafts.

5. Emma up, more coloring

6. Dinner-grilled cheese, picked up toys, Carson played school (he is the teacher and tells us all sorts of interesting stories followed by circle time).

7. Bedtime, Josh got his full dress uniform ready for tomorrow, a little bit of TV, a little photoshop work, a little internet browsing

2. Emma has been creating her own collection of toys, just like the boys do.

October 8th

Today . . .

1. Josh up at ?? I don't even remember hearing him get ready. Carson up at 6:10, so Parker & I got up, Cooper up at 6:30, the boys wrestled in my bed for a while, shower, Emma up at 7

2. Breakfast, chocolate chip muffins, picked out toy for share day, got snack (ritz cheese crackers & juice box) ready, off to school

3. 8:01 Parker is 2 MONTHS OLD!

4. Got home, talked to my mom, vacuumed, laundry, unloaded dishwasher, picked up toys, trying to stay awake, I am very tired today! Checked email, started picking out pictures for our yearly review album (5,000+ to go through)

5. Picked up Carson, lunch, Emma's nap, picked up toys, colored with the boys

6. Emma up, Emma & Cooper emptied toy box, Carson colored pumpkins

7. Dinner, Josh home, Starbucks run

8. Bedtime-story, Carson told us all about Sharks, then did the shark dance and sang the shark song

9. Scrapbooked, Josh did some reading, watched "The Shield", "Til Death"

10. 10:30 Bedtime

Also . . .

1. 2 Months already- how does time go by so fast, Parker has changed so much. He is chubby and I love that. I can't believe how much the kids have fallen in love with him also. They love when he is happy, are sad when he is asleep, and think it is funny when he cries and is crabby. Carson insists on feeding him a bottle once a day. Cooper enjoys showing Parker his toys. Emma likes to put his pacifier back in his mouth, even if he doesn't want it. I am so lucky to have 4 beautiful, kind, silly, and wonderful kids.

2. Josh has another speech today, wish him luck!

3. Cooper played with his guys, put on Spiderman pj's, Emma changed clothes twice, played with her spoons, changed 3 poopy diapers, checked email, laundry

4. Picked up Carson, lunch, Emma's nap

5. Painting, played outside, practiced abc's

6. Dinner

7. Josh worked on his speech, kids played upstairs, folded 2 loads of laundry

8. Bedtime, made muffins for tomorrow

October 6th

Today . . .

2. Breakfast, took Carson to school

3. Cooper played with his guys, Emma trapped herself in the bouncy seat, put away the size 3-6 months clothes of Parkers, dishes, checked email, had a snack

4. Picked up Carson, made lunch, put Emma down

5. They boys colored & finished IronMan

6. Josh home, dinner

7. Josh & Emma went to the store to get new pacifiers (Parker's mysterious disappeared this afternoon)

8. Treat time, storytime, bedtime

1. Josh bought Emma some plastic rainbow colored baby spoons which she thinks are the greatest toys in the world!

2. Parker "cooed" quite a bit today, that is, when he was happy

Today . . .

1. 5:55am Parker and I up, shower, fold clothes, watch the news, took a shower

2. 6:30 Carson & Cooper up, josh reluctantly help now

3. Weekend breakfast-Josh got donuts for the kids, and Starbucks for us (J-Peppermint Mocha, Me-Mocha Frappacino & pumpkin scone)

4. 9:00 Josh left for volunteer work in Grass Valley (ALS requirment)

5. The kids colored, watched the new Star Wars cartoon, played hide-n-seek

6. Lunch, Emma's nap

7. 3:00 Josh home, Emma up, Josh took all 4 for a walk while I worked on some homework for him, more coloring, Halloween craft projects, football on TV (USC vs. Oregon)

8. Dinner

9. Went to Target to get IronMan, Emma went to bed, boys stayed up for movie night, but only made it until 8:30 and they were out

10. 10:00 bedtime

11. Parker up at 1:45, bottle, then fussy at 4:15 until 4:45, 5:15 to 5:45, long night!

Today . . .

1. Got up at 6:00, did the usual morning routine

2. No school today, so everyone is home to play

3. The boys played "green guy", colored for a long time, organized their guys

4. Lunch followed by Emma's nap

5. It FINALLY rained.

6. Emma up, colored some more, played "green guy", chased each other around acting like ghosts

7. Josh brought pizza home for dinner, Cooper had cereal, Josh cleaned the whole house

8. 7:00 bedtime

9. Watched TV, played on the computer

10. 9:30 bedtime for Josh, 11:00 bedtime for me

11. Bottle at 2:30am, fussy around 4:45am

Conversation of the day . . .

Mom: Carson, what do you want for breakfast?

Carson: Hey Mom, I have an idea. How about 2 pieces of toast with a cookie in the middle?

Mom: That doesn't sound very good, and you can't have a cookie for breakfast.

Carson: Please Mom, pretty please with sugar on top!

Mom: Okay.

Mom: Umm, Carson, the cookies are  all gone. Dad had the last one and left the package in there.

Carson: Oh no, that was a big no-no. Dad's in big trouble! I guess I will just have toast.

Mom: Okay.

1. Parker is 8 weeks old today. Can you believe that???? I can't get over how fast he is growing. He is becoming a little man more and more everyday!!

October 2nd

Today . . .

1. Parker was up at 5:45, fed and changed him, Cooper came in at 6:00, took a shower, Carson came in at 6:30, off to school at 7:302. Carson at Preschool 7:50-12

3. While Carson was at schoool, Cooper & I cleaned the playroom, chased Emma around, organized all his guys, 1 box of Superheros, 1 box of Transformers

4. Picked Carson up, stopped at Starbucks, came home, made lunch, put Emma down

5. Laundry, the boys colored, played with their "guys", played on th

e computer, fed Parker, got Emma up

6. Played chase, picked up toys, started dinner, the kids ate, josh got home around 6:00, chocolate ice cream for "treat time"

7. 7:00 Kids bedtime which includes reading, talking, hugs & kisses

8. Tonight the boys came back down for: one toy, use the potty, get a drink, 

and as always, Carson had to tell us that Cooper was being too wild and all Carson wanted to do was go to sleep. 

9. Watched "Sons of Anarchy", "Criminal Minds", a little bit of the Vice Presidential debate

10. 10:30 bedtime

-After picking Carson up from school

Carson: Hey boo, what did you do while I was at school?

Cooper: Picked up, you can't make a mess, a big huge mess

Carson: Why can't I make a mess?

Cooper: It was hard work. I'm so hot. You better not make a mess, no mess, no mess, 1 box at a time, k Carson? k, Carson?

Carson: Okay Boo.

10. 9:00-11:30 Cooper played “hide and seek” with his guys (“I’m going to play hide and seek with my guys, by myself, oh guys, where are you?”), Emma watched Dora and played with her baby doll, both helped unload the dishwasher, Emma got into the candy corn
11. 12:00 Pick Carson up from school

12. Get home, Cooper & Carson took turns feeding Parker while I made lunch

13. 1:00 Emma's nap, the boys played with their guys, colored, and played a few games on the computer

14. 3:00 fed Parker, got Emma up, did some laundry, entertained Parker

15. 4:30 got Parker to sleep, made dinner, picked up toys, vacuumed

16. 5:45 Josh got home and cleaned

17. Josh and Emma ran some errands, the boys had a treat, watched 30 mins. of Spiderman, picked out books to read

18. 7:00 Bedtime, read two books, talked about school, made sure the huge Hulk cardboard cutout was looking at the boys to "protect them" at night

19. 7:45 All 4 kids are asleep!
