Monday & Tuesday

Monday- The boys went with Grandma Michele to celebrate her birthday with lunch at YiaYia's. Then we headed off to swim lessons. The boys did such a great job. They practiced their swimming strokes, taking "big ice cream scoops". Then, they went to the deep end and jumped in to their teacher. They both did it. They went under water and everything, but they weren't scared!

Tuesday- Today we had Alligator day. We made alligator puppets. Then we watched the Inauguration. Carson was really into to. He has been talking about "Barack O-bottom" all day. In the afternoon we had karate. The boys worked on their kicks. They did awesome!! Emma played some basketball with Uncle Sean. After dinner we all got our swimsuits on and went to family swim. The kids had so much fun. Grandpa took them home and got them into bed. My mom, brother, and I stayed and did the water workout. It was hard work but a blast!

From the Last Few Days

The last few days we have played in the "bubbly tub" at night. The kids have played outside, riding their bikes and chasing the dogs. Jack has come over to play. The boys are at Grandma Michele's tonight. So, today Emma got new paints and a special dinner at Gustav's.

Karate Lesson #1

Today was the boys first day of karate. They practiced hitting correctly, protecting your face, somersaults, and listening to directions. Cooper was so shy. He would watch what Carson was doing, and then copy him. He loved it, but he was a little shy. I think this class is going to be great! They learn to be patient, respectful, and good listeners. Next, we need to find karate outfits. They aren't required, but they are just too cute!

World Forestry Center

This morning we went to the World Forestry Center. We were the only ones there so the kids had a ton of fun running around. They had all kind of simulators, including a really fun fire jumper parachute thing in which you had to land on the target and the kids favorite, a huge white water raft including life jackets. And, the train was a big hit too!

Swim Lesson #1

Today the boys had their first swim lesson. They had so much fun. They jumped in the pool, they kicked, and practiced putting their faces in the water. They love their teacher. Cooper wasn't even scared!!
